La recepción de El Quijote y otras obras de Cervantes en China: traducciones, imitaciones, adaptaciones.

Abstract

La presente Tesis Doctoral pretende dar a conocer la repercusión que El Quijote, la gran obra de Miguel de Cervantes, tuvo y tiene en un país tan alejado espacial y culturalmente de España como es China, sin dejar de atender al resto de títulos que conforma el corpus cervantino. De esta manera, y siempre teniendo en cuenta el contexto histórico-social, se han recopilado y analizado todas las traducciones, adaptaciones y ediciones infantiles y juveniles realizadas desde 1922, fecha de la primera, hasta la actualidad, reunidas en dos catálogos. Se estudia, además, la recepción de El Quijote a través de versiones cinematográficas y teatrales, sin olvidar el análisis comparativo con obras contemporáneas de autores chinos. Por último, se da cuenta de la recepción en China de otras obras del autor.The present Doctoral Thesis aims to make known the repercussion that Don Quixote, the great work of Miguel de Cervantes, had and has in a country as spatially and culturally distant from Spain as China, while continuing to attend to the other titles that shape up the Cervantes corpus. In this way, and always taking into account the social-historical context, all the translations, adaptations and editions for children and young people made since 1922, the date of the first one, up to the present time, have been compiled and analyzed in two catalogs. In addition, the reception of Don Quixote is studied through cinematographic and theatrical versions, without forgetting the comparative analysis with contemporary works by Chinese authors. Finally, he notes the reception in China of other works by the author.
