Title: | Efficient and Reliable Power-Flow Solution Using Recursive Formula |

Abstract: | This article proposes a novel power flow (PF) solution methodology. Unlike to conventional techniques, the new approach is based on recursive formulas rather than conventional iterative methods. Stability of the novel methodology is proved and some relevant computational aspects are discussed. A wide variety of well and ill-conditioned benchmark systems shows the performance of the developed methodology. The results demonstrate that the proposed recursive formula is computationally competitive with other traditional PF methods, besides it is scalable and reliable. |
