CREACIÓN E INTERPRETACIÓN DEL BOLERO. UNA APROXIMACIÓN DESDE LA HISTORIA, LA LITERATURA Y LA PERFORMANCE

Abstract

Se investiga las conexiones que se producen entre las distintas facetas que desarrollo como investigador e intérprete de boleros. De acuerdo con esto, al análisis histórico de este género se añade una vertiente performativa-acorde a la Investigación Artística-y en la que me valgo de mi condición de intérprete para hablar de este género musical. Utilizo un método que se vale de mi experiencia personal y profesional como fuente de conocimiento, de la interpretación como modelo de creación artística y de la investigación como medio de indagación. El producto final que se presenta y que es el resultado de este proceso es un conjunto de diez boleros que se adjuntan al texto escrito. La interpretación de estas piezas es el resultado de mi investigación y de las “epifanías” que surgieron en esta trayectoria de elaboración de la Tesis como resultado de una profunda reflexión.

The connections that occur between the different facets that I develop as a researcher and bolero performer are investigated. In accordance with this, a performative aspect is added to the historical analysis of this genre-in accordance with Artistic Research-and in which I use my status as an interpreter to talk about this musical genre. I use a method that uses my personal and professional experience as a source of knowledge, interpretation as a model of artistic creation and research as a means of inquiry. The final product that is presented and that is the result of this process is a set of ten boleros that are attached to the written text. The interpretation of these pieces is the result of my research and of the "epiphanies" that emerged in this trajectory of elaboration of the Thesis as a result of a deep reflection.
