ANÁLISIS ESPECTROSCÓPICOS Y CROMATOGRÁFICOS EN EL ESTUDIO DE RITUALES ENTRE LOS SIGLOS VIII Y III a.C. LOS CASOS DE LA NECRÓPOLIS ORIENTALIZANTE DEL CERRO DE LOS VIENTOS (BAEZA, JAÉN) Y EL OPPIDUM IBERO DE PUENTE TABLAS (JAÉN)

Abstract

El estudio de rituales en Arqueología es siempre una zona de investigación compleja, puesto que los ritos y ceremonias están compuestos por normas y aspectos diversos en función de los objetivos empleados en su desarrollo. A esto debe sumarse que las variaciones en los diversos contextos espaciales y temporales aumentan las lecturas interpretativas que puedan realizarse del ritual. El estudio físico-químico de los materiales recuperados en la necrópolis Orientalizante (siglos VIII-VII a.C.) de Cerro de los Vientos (Baeza, Jaén) y el Santuario y Palacio del oppidum ibero de Puente Tablas (Jaén) (siglos VI-III a.C.), ha ayudado a una mejor comprensión de este tipo de procesos. La metodología aplicada ha consistido en un análisis interdisciplinar que ha combinado información de tipo arqueológico con empleo de técnicas espectroscópicas (MRS, EDXRF, XRD y UV-vis) y cromatográficas (GC-MS, HPLC-MS y GC-C-IRMS) para la detección de indicadores químicos en recipientes cerámicos, pavimentos, recubrimientos y cuentas para adorno personal.

The study of rituals in Archeology is always a complex research area, since the rites and ceremonies are made up of different rules and aspects depending on the objectives used in their development. To this must be added that the variations in the various spatial and temporal contexts increase the interpretative readings that can be made of the ritual. The physical-chemical study of the materials recovered in the Orientalizing necropolis (8th-7th centuries BC) of Cerro de los Vientos (Baeza, Jaén) and the Sanctuary and Palace of the Iberian oppidum of Puente Tablas (Jaén) (6th-3rd centuries BC), has helped to better understand this type of process. The methodology applied has consisted of an interdisciplinary analysis that has combined archaeological information with the use of spectroscopic (MRS, EDXRF, XRD and UV-vis) chromatographic techniques (GC-MS, HPLC-MS and GC-C-IRMS) for the detection of chemical indicators in ceramic vessels, floors, coatings and beads for personal adornment.
