EL DICCIONARIO: ESPEJO DEL MUNDO DE ALAIN REY

Abstract

La presente tesis doctoral se centra en el estudio del repertorio lexicográfico del lingüista francés Alain Rey, en concreto, dos de sus diccionarios actuarán como punto de anclaje para el análisis: el Dictionnaire Historique de la langue française (DHLF) y el Dictionnaire culturel en langue française (DCLF). El trabajo se divide en cuatro capítulos: el primer capítulo versa sobre la introducción a este estudio, el segundo capítulo describe los conceptos básicos de la Lingüística y algunas aportaciones de Alain Rey a este campo, el tercer capítulo «Diccionario, sociedad y cultura» desarrolla los aspectos formales e interdisciplinares del DHLF y el cuarto capítulo se ocupa de un breve análisis formal y de contenido del DCLF atendiendo particularmente a la relación entre diccionario y literatura. Se abordan las singularidades de estos diccionarios como la ordenación de las entradas en función de la familia de palabras o la presencia de voces argóticas.

This doctoral thesis focuses on the study of the lexicographic repertoire of the French linguist Alain Rey, specifically two of his dictionaries will act as an anchor point for the analysis: the Dictionnaire Historique de la langue française (DHLF) and the Dictionnaire culturel en langue française (DCLF). The work is divided into four chapters: the first chapter deals with the introduction, the second chapter describes the basic concepts of linguistics and some contributions to this field by Alain Rey, the third chapter "Dictionary, society and culture" develops the formal and interdisciplinary aspects of the DHLF and the fourth chapter deals with a brief formal and content analysis of the DCLF, paying particular attention to the relationship between the dictionary and literature. The singularities of these dictionaries are addressed, such as the ordering of the entries according to the family of words or the presence of slang words.
