Resumen
El artículo explora la importancia de la fotografía como herramienta documental y artística en la preservación de la memoria del Festival de Música Antigua de Úbeda y Baeza (FeMAUB). Desde su invención, la fotografía ha sido fundamental para capturar momentos únicos y transmitir emociones, y las imágenes del FeMAUB no son la excepción. Esta galería fotográfica, organizada cronológicamente, documenta conciertos, actividades educativas, ruedas de prensa y otros eventos clave del festival, ofreciendo un recorrido visual por su historia. El proceso de recopilación implicó superar múltiples retos logísticos y contó con la colaboración de diversas instituciones, fotógrafos independientes y diseñadores, destacando el papel de Jesús Delgado, fotógrafo oficial del festival desde 2009. Este esfuerzo ha permitido que el archivo fotográfico del FeMAUB sea un testimonio único de la evolución del festival, reflejando tanto su trayectoria como el patrimonio cultural de Úbeda y Baeza.
The article examines the significance of photography as both a documentary and artistic tool in preserving the memory of the Festival of Early Music of Úbeda and Baeza (FeMAUB). Since its invention, photography has been pivotal in capturing unique moments and conveying emotions, and the images from FeMAUB are no exception. This photographic gallery, arranged chronologically, documents concerts, educational activities, press conferences, and other key events of the festival, offering a visual narrative of its history. The collection process involved overcoming numerous logistical challenges and relied on the collaboration of various institutions, independent photographers, and designers, with particular emphasis on the role of Jesús Delgado, the festival's official photographer since 2009. This meticulous effort has established FeMAUB’s photographic archive as a unique testament to the festival’s evolution, encapsulating both its trajectory and the cultural heritage of Úbeda and Baeza.
