Resumen
[ES] La investigación que presentamos recoge información profesional y personal, sobre las
profesoras de Educación Física que impartieron docencia en las Facultades de Educación del Estado Español durante los años académicos comprendidos en dos décadas, desde 1990 hasta el 2010, etapa que abarca el periodo en que se ha desarrollado el perfil docente de maestro/a especialista en Educación Física en los estudios de Magisterio (RD 1.440/1991). El trabajo consiste en un estudio empírico. descriptivo de carácter transversal en el cual se ha diseñado, elaborado y validado un instrumento para la recogida de información denominado "Cuestionario sobre las características personales y profesionales de las profesoras de Educación Física en las Facultades de Educación" que se aplicó a la totalidad de la población. Los datos obtenidos se cuantificaron, analizaron y discutieron, procediendo a la emisión de las conclusiones que aportan un conocimiento muy interesante sobre las características de las profesoras de esa etapa y su influencia en la formación del profesorado
[EN]The research being presented aims to gather both professional and personal information about female physical education teachers who were teaching in Faculties of Education in Spain during two decades. The academic courses being studied, from 1990 to 2010, cover the period of time in which the profile of primary school teacher specialist in physical education was implemented (RD 1.440/1991). Our work is a cross-sectional descriptive empirical study in which an instrument for gathering information entitled "Questionnaire about personal and professional characteristics of female Physical Education teachers in Faculties of Education" was designed, elaborated, validated and applied to the whole population being studied. The data obtained were then quantified, analyzed and discussed. The conc1usions bring interesting knowledge about the characteristics of female physical education teachers during that period and also about their influence in primary school teacher training
