For centuries, the world has approached to an economical specialization, the origin of large monocultures that nowadays cover large surfaces in the Earth. In Europe, the olive groves that can be found in Jaén could be pointed out as one of the most representative examples. A monoculture which reaches virtually all the provincial farming lands and, deep inside, the ones which are in the region of Campiña de Jaén. Nevertheless, this has been a relative new constitution, and has been developed in different stages, just as were overtaken different agricultural processes of change. An evolution that has derived in a heterogeneous olive grove. Cartography has allowed us to rebuild this advance and to observe the internal differences. Finally, it has also allowed noting the roads that should be taken by this grove, to improve its environmental, economical and social situation.
