PERCEPCIÓN DEL PROFESORADO Y ALUMNADO SOBRE LAS COMPETENCIAS DOCENTES E IMPLICACIONES FORMATIVAS

Abstract

La tesis doctoral presentada, se titula "Percepción del profesorado y alumnado sobre las competencias docentes e implicaciones formativas". Nace con el objetivo de analizar dicha percepción en los contextos ecuatoguineano y español. La muestra total por conveniencia, extraída al azar, la constituyeron 432 participantes de los que 60 profesores y 48 alumnos pertenecían a la Universidad Nacional de Guinea Ecuatorial, Campus de Bata, mientras que 67 profesores y 257 alumnos formaban la muestra española. Los alumnos cursaban el último curso de los Grados de Educación y Humanidades. Se diseñó como instrumento de investigación, un cuestionario ad hoc, validado en su contenido y constructo. Se realizó un análisis descriptivo, tanto de ítems como de dimensiones, procediendo a un análisis Rho de Spearman, contrastando las variables con la U de Mann-Whitney y un análisis multivariante. Como resultados principales destacamos que, aunque la percepción es positiva, hay que hacer algunas observaciones particulares.

The doctoral thesis presented is entitled "Teachers' and students' perception of teaching competencies and training implications". It was born with the aim of analyzing this perception in the Equatoguinean and Spanish contexts. The total sample for convenience, drawn at random, consisted of 432 participants, of whom 60 teachers and 48 students belonged to the National University of Equatorial Guinea, Bata Campus, while 67 teachers and 257 students formed the Spanish sample. The students were in their final year of the Education and Humanities Degrees. An ad hoc questionnaire, validated in content and construct, was designed as a research instrument. A descriptive analysis was performed, both of items and dimensions, proceeding to a Spearman's Rho analysis, and contrasting the variables with the Mann-Whitney U test and a multivariate analysis. As main results we highlight that, although the perception is positive, some particular observations should be made.
