“DISEÑO Y VALIDACIÓN DE UNA ESCALA PARA LA MEDICIÓN DEL VÍNCULO Y DEL APEGO MATERNO-FILIAL EN LA POBLACIÓN ESPAÑOLA”

Abstract

Introducción: Existen dos conceptos clave dentro de la relación materno-filial: “vínculo” y “apego”. Actualmente no hay instrumentos que valoren estos fenómenos de forma conjunta. Objetivo: Diseñar y validar un cuestionario para valorar conjuntamente el vínculo y el apego. Metodología: Se ha realizado un estudio descriptivo transversal durante el último trimestre de 2022 y el primer trimestre de 2023 en mujeres con un hijo biológico con una edad comprendida entre las 6 semanas y los 18 meses en España. Resultados: El cuestionario VAMF (Vínculo y Apego Materno-Filial) mostró una buena consistencia interna para la escala con 29 ítems (α=0.836). El cuestionario VAMF presentó una buena capacidad predictiva, con AUC de ROC de 0.85 (IC95%: 0.81-0.90). En el test-retest, el VAMF presentó un grado de acuerdo absoluto adecuado muy bueno (CCI: 0.86; IC95%: 0.72-0.93). Conclusión: El cuestionario VAFM es una herramienta válida y fiable para la determinación del vínculo y el apego materno-filial. Introduction: Two key concepts exist within the mother-child relationship: "bond" and "attachment." Currently, there are no instruments that assess these phenomena jointly. Objective: To design and validate a questionnaire for jointly assessing bond and attachment. Methodology: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted during the last trimester of 2022 and the first trimester of 2023 among women with a biological child aged between 6 weeks and 18 months in Spain. Results: The VAMF questionnaire (Maternal-Child Bond and Attachment) showed good internal consistency for the 29-item scale (α=0.836). The VAMF questionnaire demonstrated a good predictive capability, with an area under the ROC curve of de 0.85 (IC95%: 0.81-0.90). In the test-retest, the VAMF showed very good absolute agreement (CCI: 0.86; 95% CI: 0.72-0.93). Conclusion: The VAFM questionnaire is a valid and reliable tool for determining maternal-child bond and attachment.
