DESPLAZAMIENTO ACTIVO AL CENTRO EDUCATIVO: ANÁLISIS DEL ENTORNO CONSTRUIDO Y PROPUESTAS DE INTERVENCIÓN

Abstract

El desplazamiento activo es uno de los métodos actuales que están funcionando para el aumento de la actividad física en la sociedad. Con la práctica de este desplazamiento no solo se puede beneficiar la salud de las personas, sino la reducción del tráfico y la mejora del tiempo disponible de las familias. En esta Tesis se abordan tres objetivos: 1 Estudiar la asociación entre el modo de ir y volver del colegio y las características del entorno familiar y escolar en adolescentes. 2 Estudiar los determinantes cognitivos del desplazamiento activo al centro educativo. 3 Presentar un proyecto de innovación educativa para educación infantil en la mejora del desplazamiento activo. Los resultados ofrecen amplios recursos para potenciar el desplazamiento activo dentro de los centros educativos, además de en ámbitos poco estudiados como la etapa de infantil. Además, ofrece unos resultados interesantes en relación con el entorno y el modo de desplazamiento.

Active commuting is one of the current methods that are working to increase physical activity in society. The practice of active travel can not only benefit people's health, but also reduce traffic and improve the time available to families. This thesis has three objectives: 1 To study the association between the mode of travel to and from school and the characteristics of the family and school environment in adolescents. 2 To study the cognitive determinants of active commuting to school. 3 To present an educational innovation project for early childhood education to improve active commuting. The results offer ample resources to promote active commuting within educational centres, as well as in areas that have been little studied, such as the infant stage. In addition, it offers interesting results in relation to the environment and mode of commuting.
