    LOcative Reference Extractor (LORE) [Software]
    (2020) Fernández-Martínez, Nicolás José
LORE, my rule-based model, and nLORE, its neural counterpart nLORE, are locative reference extractors designed to detect and extract any kind of locative references (e.g. geopolitical entities, landforms, points of interests, traffic ways, etc.) and their surrounding locative markers (e.g. directional, distance and temporal markers) from tweets or any other piece of microtext. LORE works with English, Spanish and French texts whereas nLORE only works with English texts. This software tool is the result of my my PhD thesis project, titled A linguistically-aware computational approach to microtext location detection, defended on October 21 2020 at the University of Granada (UGR) and obtaining cum laude distinction, under the PhD programme of Languages, Texts and Contexts (Programa de Doctorado en Lenguajes, Textos y Contextos).

The use of corpora for language teaching and learning
(Academy Publisher, 2013) Casas, Antonio Vicente; Fernández-Domínguez, Jesús; Alcaraz-Sintes, Alejandro
This first volume of the journal Research in Corpus Linguistics is a special issue with six contributions that were originally presented at CILC2012 (4th International Conference on Corpus Linguistics), held at the University of Jaén (Spain) from 22nd to 24th March 2012. Although these papers were presented in five of the nine thematic panels established by AELINCO (Spanish Association for Corpus Linguistics) for its conferences, they all share a common feature: they explore the use of corpora for the teaching and learning of a language.
