HISTORIA DEL ABASTECIMIENTO DE AGUA EN RIO GRANDO DO SUL, BRASIL (1828-1930)

Abstract

La tesis titulada Historia del abastecimiento de agua en Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil (1828-1930), presenta los resultados de una investigación vinculada al Seminario Agua, Territorio y Medio Ambiente; y que se presenta en la Escuela de Doctorado de la Universidad de Jaén, España. La investigación se desarrolló desde una doble perspectiva. La primera aborda la construcción de una historiografía sobre el abastecimiento de agua e identifica temas recurrentes, conceptos y procedimientos metodológicos relevantes para la producción textual de historiadores que investigaron el uso del agua para el consumo humano. La segunda trata del proceso de transformación del abastecimiento de agua que se produjo en el territorio de Rio Grande do Sul (Brasil), en el período comprendido entre 1828 y 1930.

The thesis titled History of water supply in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil (1828-1930), presents the results of an investigation linked to the Water Seminar, Territory and Environment; and that is presented at the Doctoral School of the University from Jaén, Spain. The research was developed from a double perspective. The first addresses the construction of a historiography on water supply and identifies recurring themes, concepts and methodological procedures relevant to production textual of historians who investigated the use of water for human consumption.
