INVESTIGACIÓN ARTÍSTICA E INNOVACIÓN SOCIAL: HERRAMIENTAS PARA LA TRANSFERENCIA DEL CONOCIMIENTO CIENTÍFICO

Abstract

La presente tesis se centra en la interconexión entre creación artística y comunicación científica, y se desarrolla en torno a una serie de investigaciones que han sido recopiladas en diversos artículos abordados desde una perspectiva holística. Éstos versan sobre temas que se interrelacionan: los procesos creativos en la ilustración científica, la generación de recursos patrimoniales a través del arte público y la comunicación social de la ciencia, la artografía aplicada a la divulgación científica, sustentada en el dibujo y la pintura del natural como herramienta cognoscitiva, o el desarrollo de proyectos creativos audiovisuales de divulgación inclusiva cuyos resultados ofrecen una mejora de la calidad de vida de las personas implicadas en los mismos. Las conclusiones sobre los beneficios de esta interconexión artística y científica, ofrecen resultados cuantificables que son fruto de la vinculación profesional del autor con investigadores de diferentes áreas de la ciencia, y que se sirven de metodologías artísticas para la transferencia del conocimiento.

This thesis focuses on the interconnection between artistic creation and scientific communication, and is developed around a series of investigations that have been compiled in various articles approached from a holistic perspective whose themes are interrelated: creative processes in scientific illustration, the generation of heritage resources through public art and social communication of science, artography applied to scientific dissemination, based on drawing and painting of nature as a cognitive tool, or the development of creative audiovisual projects of inclusive dissemination, whose results offer an improvement in the quality of life of the people involved in them. The conclusions that offer the benefits of this artistic and scientific interconnection are quantifiable and start from the author's professional relationship with researchers from different areas of science, who use artistic methodologies for the transfer of knowledge.
